Revitalizing Santri Husada in an Effort to Prevent Abortion and the Three Big Sins of Education

Abstract

Nuruddin Islamic Boarding School in Sungai Sarik Village is one of the schools that is a partner in the implementation of Community Service with a total of 150 students and around 60 female and male students residing in dormitories in the pesantren environment. Previously, Nuruddin Islamic Boarding School had formed a Pesantren Health Post with a cadre of 25 santri husada, but 15 of them had completed their education so they resigned as santri husada cadres. Preliminary studies found many cases related to abortion and other reproductive health along with cases of the three big sins of education. The aim is to revitalize santri husada in an effort to prevent abortion and the three cardinal sins of education. The methods used were Training of Santri Husada Cadres, Introspection Survey (SMD) in Pesantren, Pesantren Community Deliberation (MMPP), and Monitoring and Evaluation. The results of the activity are the revitalization of husada cadres and training for 25 male and female students, SMD is carried out with the introduction of reproductive health problems and the three cardinal sins of education, MMPP is attended by boarding school administrators, santri guardians, health workers and the implementation team and the last stage of monitoring and evaluation activities is carried out with the preparation of the Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK). Another concrete strategy is the need for Monev from the Puskesmas and Kemenag Kab. Kampar so that this activity continues.
