Author Guidelines

Introduction

Welcome to Butta-Toa, a platform dedicated to advancing knowledge through scholarly research and community service. We appreciate your interest in contributing to our journal. To ensure a smooth and standardized submission process, please follow the author guidelines outlined below.

Types of Submissions

Butta-Toa accepts the following types of submissions:

Research Articles: Original research manuscripts that contribute to the field of community service and related areas.

Case Studies: In-depth examinations of specific community service projects, programs, or initiatives.

Best Practices: Articles highlighting successful community service strategies and approaches.

Manuscript Preparation

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that it adheres to the following guidelines:

Formatting: Use a standard font (e.g.Arial) and 12-point font size.

Title Page: Include the title of the article, author(s) names and affiliations, contact information for the corresponding author, and any acknowledgments.

Abstract: Provide a structured abstract of no more than 250 words, including background, methods, results, and conclusions.

Keywords: Include a list of 3-5 keywords that describe the content of your manuscript.

Main Text: Organize the manuscript into sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion (for research articles). Use subheadings for clarity.

Citations and References: Follow a recognized citation style (e.g., APA) for in-text citations and the References section. Cite all sources accurately.

Ethical Considerations

Authors must obtain ethical clearance (if applicable) and ensure the confidentiality and consent of participants in their studies.

Disclose any conflicts of interest, funding sources, or financial support received for the research.

Prepare your manuscript according to the guidelines above.

Follow the submission instructions on our website to upload your manuscript and any supplementary files.

Review and Publication

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer review process. Our editorial team will evaluate the submissions based on originality, relevance, quality, and ethical considerations.

Upon acceptance, the article will undergo copyediting and typesetting. Authors will have an opportunity to review and approve the final version before publication.

Authors retain the copyright of their work but grant Butta-Toa the right to publish the article.
