Stimulating Students’ Creativity at Elementary School 77 Lali Jangan, Bantaeng Regency through Fun Eduscience

Abstract

Because of the lack of facilities, teaching and learning science in SDN 77 Lali Jangang limited to the lecture method. This makes science lessons less interesting for students. At the elementary school level, learning should be motivating and enjoyable. However, science is often considered difficult and scary. With the Fun Eduscience approach, students are invited to realize that learning science can be fun and easy. The facilities at the service location are not ideal for learning proscess, the service team came to increase the creativity of students and teachers in learning science using experiment method by Fun Eduscience. This activity was evaluated using quantitiative and qualitative instrument. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the students' creativity and interest in learning are increased after implementing the Fun Eduscience learning model, although on the other hand, it was found that there are some failing such as lack of internet access, facilities and funds for teacher training were the root of the problem why students experienced have difficulties in hampered students' creative thinking.
