Touchless Pump as A Solution to Prevent COVID-19 at The Toraja Church of The Makassar Bantaeng Class Congregation

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of the corona virus has resulted in almost all things or activities being done from home, whether at school, college, work or other activities. Even some places of worship have been closed to reduce the spread of the corona virus. Overcoming this, automation technology and information technology are very important in the health sector. The solution carried out or provided to overcome this problem is to design or design a microcontroller-based hand washing device which is equipped with several components, one of which is an Arduino sensor, and other electronic components as additional features that are integrated into an input and output system. In this way, it is hoped that the Touchless Pump (automatic hand washing pump) can help and build awareness in the community in order to reduce the spread of bacteria or viruses and create a culture of hand washing.
