The Use of Android English Teaching Applications for English Teachers at SMAN 1 Panyabungan Selatan

Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide training in the use of Android-based English teaching applications for English teachers at SMAN 1 Panyabungan Selatan, Mandailing Natal Regency. There were 5 types of applications introduced to teachers but only 3 applications were simulated considering time constraints. Implementing this PKM is a team consisting of 3 lecturers and 4 English Tadris students at STAIN Mandailing Natal. The team provided training to 6 English teachers at the school. The service method uses PAR (Partipatory Action Research). There are 3 activities carried out, namely lectures, performance (simulation) and question and answer discussions. The result of implementing PKM is that this activity provides additional knowledge and skills to English teachers so that their insight into using IT in English learning increases.
