Counseling on The Application of K3 Culture for Students of Vocational School 3 Bantaeng

Abstract

Occupational health and safety are methods used to protect workers from work-related accidents and diseases. These occupational safety and health efforts do not only apply to industrial sectors such as manufacturing, mining, construction, but also apply in the educational environment, especially in schools. The aim of carrying out this activity is to contribute to the importance of implementing K3 in the workplace, in solving occupational health and safety (K3) problems in society, especially in schools. In particular, this activity aims to increase the knowledge of students and school residents about potential dangers at school, possible risk factors for accidents and illnesses resulting from activities at school, as well as increasing students' abilities in preventing and handling dangers or illnesses resulting from activities at school. In this activity is SMK Negeri 3 Bantaeng, this school is one of the government schools that requires attention in implementing occupational health and safety in schools. The solution offered through this activity is identifying potential dangers in schools, providing education regarding risk factors and handling work-related accidents and illnesses in schools, installing danger signs and K3 posters. With this activity, it is hoped that there will be an implementation of an occupational health and safety culture in schools
