Training on Creating Interactive Learning Media Based on Visual Basic Power Point at SMK Negeri 3 Bantaeng

Abstract

Appropriate learning media may support the achievement of learning outcomes. Computers are cutting-edge products that are equipped with various software that can provide many conveniences in learning activities. The availability of facilities at SMK Negeri 3 Bantaeng is adequate but not yet used optimally. Lack of training for teachers, especially in the use of technological information as a learning medium, means it is necessary to carry out community service activities involving teachers at SMK Negeri 3 Bantaeng. The guidance method in the practice of making learning media is applied in this service activity. The Visual Basic Power Point application training which was attended by teachers from various educational backgrounds ran inductively even though there were obstacles related to teachers' understanding of the use of Visual Basic which requires programming language skills. Some displays created using VBAppt are more interesting than conventional methods and can be used in the classroom during the learning process.
